November/December 2024 ENews

Whoa! What happened to November? Well, it was a flurry at our house! We sold our place in Prescott, Arizona to a wonderfully lovely couple, and moved to the Madison, WI area to start something new!

I can tell I’ve been navigating life – bumps and curves, stop signs, green lights, yield, proceed with caution, slow no wake….you get it.

We downsized to what fit in our cars and half of my car was our dog, Reggae. It was quite a process of letting go to go from a 2 bedroom home again to two vehicles. I can tell you everything for our kitchen that fit in one bowl, and how our Buddha sculpture rode shotgun with my djembe.

Life is not all rainbows and unicorns but it can be. What I’ve learned in my practices is that it’s in the resisting of suffering that we suffer. Let it happen – feel it – let it go.
